Hi Allyson,
I hope you are able to access this. It's extremely easy to make a new post. Just log into your blogger account, and that will bring you to a page called "Dashboard" - this is where you manage your blogs and pick blogs that you are following.
When you see the title of your blog (I see that you have created your blog twice, select the top one always, we'll delete the bottom one next class - remind me), just click the box that says "NEW POST" below the blog title. You can then type a title, and a body to your post. When you are done reading hit the button "PUBLISH TO BLOG".
Tah-dah!
Don't say you're not good at this, you're just learning...it's a process!

You're doing exactly the right thing, asking questions when you don't understand something. Don't get down on yourself, you are being a perfect learner!
Take a look at my blog - Assignment #3 is written out there. You are to read the Christopher Moore blog entry called "To the nines" that I link to. Once you've read it, you must make your own blog entry talking about what you read, you will link to Christopher Moore's entry and write about what you think Canada will look like 100 years from now.
If you need extra help, I'll be happy to show you how to do this things - I'm available after school on Monday if you're interested!

Two more quick things - some edits: Welcome is spelled with an "e" at the end, Awesome is spelled with an "e" in the middle - you're leaving behind your "e"s!
